#732 "The book was ten box tops, and everyone became diabetic, but it was Worth It."
I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons for the last couple of months with a group of friends. I'd never played before, it's pretty good fun. We're playing in a modern-day setting in a kind of Hellboy-esque world.
Anyway, my first ever D&D character died on Sunday when he pissed off an avatar of the demon god Abaddon, and was thoroughly killed and eaten thereafter. My character was a Welsh gunslinger named Simon who liked Star Trek and could magically generate bullets. Couldn't deflect a giant demonic scythe with his face though. I think that's a special feat or something.
So of the group of seven players, only one is now playing with her original character. Which is the sociopathic drug-making ghost of a murdered Canadian teenager. Our party's healer.
