#254: "Who is it that actually counts the thoughts?"

If you're a nice guy 99% of the time, that aberrant 1% really stands out, and people are all the more willing to lynch you for it because it's unexpected. Sometimes your characteristic behaviour just isn't weighed in your favour. I'm not sure if that's fair or not, but I guess it's human nature.

Anyway, it's a new month, so I hope you've all been voting for me on buzzComix. I was at #14 in the top 100 for a few weeks in September, so with your help I'm hoping to make it into the top 10 by Christmas. I'd take that as a sign of Neko's popularity and start printing up t-shirts or something then. Incidentally, as it stands I got myself one of those "badge-it" devices. The badges you make on it are OK quality, the pins aren't embedded in the body of the badge, but are on little white plastic things that clip into the back. The bad thing about this is that the front piece falls away pretty easily. Superglue seems to solve the problem, but it's something to watch out for. The current run of Neko badges are for my friends (and random pretty girls ;D) but if there's a demand then I might start sending them out to PayPal donors. I'd have to find out how much postage costs first though.
